Preserve what is important
Wealth is divided
Legacy is passed on
A legacy is not things — it's meanings. Your story, your values, your principles, your convictions. Everyone has their own.
Property is passed on by contract. A legacy is passed on through conversation — one that doesn't always happen.
I offer you two services.
The first is to talk deeply about your life story — to go through the facts, feel the memories, and make sense of the path you've travelled.
The second is to preserve your story in a way that it can be passed on.
My proposal is to create your biographical film. What it will be like is for you to decide — and I will help bring it to life. It's like a painting made just for you.
I will be with you every step of the way — from the first conversation to the premiere of your film, should you choose to have one.
about me
Lena Worner
My path began in the academic world: a master's degree in physics in Saint Petersburg, a PhD in physics in France, a sales manager for industrial plants in Germany.
Then I became a mother — and my creative side began to unfold. A project came to life: preserving people's stories through video interviews. And later — another one: capturing people's present state through photographic portraits.
Since 2018 I have been regularly conducting video interviews with my family — with my parents, with my husband's parents, with my husband, and with our children. I save these conversations on a separate website that I designed myself with love. This will be my legacy for my children.
And today I want to bring together all my experience and my understanding of meaning into work that matters to me: preserving stories in the form of biographical films for you.

The "Sunset Talks" project is a series of personal conversations at sunset, where between words I took portraits — as an encounter with yourself, here and now.
Example of an interview film
In 2021 I did deeply meaningful work. We recorded the life story of a man who was 74 years old. Sadly, he is no longer with us — but his story lives on and will be passed on.

Protagonist
When I learned there was an opportunity to make a film about certain stages of our family's history, I immediately appreciated all the merits of this option and seized it. I was a bit nervous before the shoot, as I had never taken part in anything like this before. But on the day of filming, I calmed down. The crew created a warm, friendly and trusting atmosphere. And most importantly, they treated what was, in essence, my confession with respect.

This film is a unique piece, but you only grasp how truly unique it is once you see the result, which gives you the chance to look anew and rethink the lives of your loved ones and your own. Even my father's simple words brought tears. You wanted to listen to him again and again.

The film turned out magnificent. I absolutely did not expect such an effect — it is simply a fantastic piece of work. We will rewatch this film for many years to come, and it is truly something we want to pass on to future generations.
The process
01.
Step one
What is your legacy
The story of your life, your experience, your thoughts, your feelings — this is what you can leave to future generations and gift to yourself.
It is always fascinating to learn: what you did and why, how you made decisions, what mattered to you, what happened after your choices, how you arrived where you are in life.
In personal conversations we will identify and articulate what is important to you, what you value, and what is worth preserving.
My approach is drawn from the book "The Legacy Guide" by Carol Franco and Kent Linbeck, who helped many business leaders and executives preserve their legacy. We go through your life in stages — childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, and beyond.
Each stage unfolds in three steps: Facts → Memories → Meaning.
First we gather the facts, then we remember, and then we find the meaning: what this stage gave you, what it taught you, what it became.
The process may take considerable time. But it will be interesting, valuable — and you will see what is most essential in your life, the bright and meaningful parts worth preserving.
02.
Step two
Preservation: from idea to result
After the first step we already have a story you want to tell. Then we will decide in what format to preserve it.
It could be an interview film with you and other participants. Or a directed documentary film. We will figure this out along the way.
Of course, a team from the world of cinema will join the work: a director, a cinematographer, a sound engineer, and editors.
At this stage I would also be happy to become your portrait photographer — and I will remain the manager of the entire process.
I don't know exactly what our film will turn out to be. But I do know that I take responsibility for the entire journey — from beginning to end.
03.
Step three
Celebrating your legacy
What has been created is passed on. And that is worth celebrating. You can host an open or private screening of your film — and gift yourself and your loved ones a moment of joy.
Contacts
For me it is important that our work takes place in person. Only this way, in my view, can true connection and deep work happen.
All the details — the process, confidentiality, copyright, and cost — we will discuss at our first meeting.
This is a premium, long-term project — and it's so important that from the very first moment there's that click: "How wonderful that we met!"
